Terms of service.
Avoid using mascara a couple days before your appointment.
Arrive with clean lashes—no mascara, eyeliner, strip lash glue, or heavy makeup. If we cannot remove residue within 15 minutes, your appointment may be canceled, and the cancellation policy will apply. Makeup removal (if time permits): $30 extra.
Wash your face and hair before your appointment; ensure your hair is dry.
Please don’t wear sunscreen or foundation around the eyes area especially eyelids to your appointment.
Plan to shower If you want to hit the gym before your appointment.
Please don’t schedule your lash appointment straight after your tanning appointment. Lash first then tan :)
Please avoid caffeine before your appointment. Caffeine will make your eyes twitch during the appointment. ( = less lashes applied )
Please do not chew gum during the appointment.
Please put your mobile on silent and enjoy your nap.
No children allowed per council regulations.
Notify us 3–4 days in advance if you need extra time for a refill or new set.
You must wash your lashes the same night after your appointment— with a suitable cleanser.
Terms & Conditions/Consent Form
I have agreed to have Whiplash applied to and/or removed from my eyelashes. Before my qualified professional can perform this procedure, I understand I must complete this agreement and provide my informed consent by signing.
I understand there are risks associated with having artificial eyelashes applied to and/or removed from my existing eyelashes, and that notwithstanding the utmost of care in the application or removal of these products, there still exist risks associated with the procedure and product itself, which include, without limitation, redness, burning , eye irritation, eye pain, discomfort, and, in rare cases, blindness when improperly handled.
I understand that a certain amount of eyelash adhesive material will be used to attach the extensions to my existing eyelashes. Even though the Professional may apply or remove my extensions properly, I understand adhesive material may become dislodged during or after the procedure, which may irritate my eyes or require further follow-up care, at my own expense to prevent damage to my eyes. I will not attribute any liability to Whiplash Perth as a result of this procedure or the use and care of these lashes.
Reactions and Sensitivities: We are not responsible for any allergic reactions you may experience from the glue. This is a risk you are taking. Should it happen, it will occur within 24-48hours. If this happens please seek medical advice.
I acknowledge that I have been advised of the potential harmful or negative side effects (such as the premature shedding of my eyelash) that the lash extension procedure or removal may cause to those who have specific medical or skin conditions.
I understand that the adhesives and adhesive remover are a skin, eye and mucus membrane irritant and that in rare cases persons may be allergic or have hypersensitivity to synthetics, cyanoacrylate or formaldehyde, which in small amount may be present in the adhesive.
I understand that Whiplash isn't responsible for allergic reactions that could occur. If an allergic reaction does occur, you will need to have the lashes professionally removed. As we are generally booked out days in advance, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to come back immediately for the removal appointment.
Please be sure to let us know at your earliest convenience if you become aware of any type of reaction. We will do our best to schedule you in as soon as possible for removal. If you have severe reactions, we are not able to remove the extensions until you see a doctor first. If an allergic reaction does occur, you will need to have the lashes professionally removed by Whiplash or a qualified lash artist.
I agree and understand that Whiplash has the right to decline to comply with my request if the length or thickness that I wanted will cause damage to my natural lashes.
In the case that Whiplash’s artists are unable to perform the treatment on me because I had lash lift done within the last 6 weeks and didn’t inform or discuss this with Whiplash prior. I understand and agree that I will have to pay the full amount of service booked in.
If I am not happy/unsatisfied and don’t want to proceed with the appointment due to this reason but fail to cancel my appointment 72hrs before my appointment, cancellation policy will take effect and I will still required to pay ‘termination fees’ which is the amount of service I booked in as I understand that Whiplash allocated the time of their schedule for my booking.
I understand that if I arrive to my appointment with heavy residue of mascara, strip lashes glue, eyeliner, old extensions from other salons, Extra charge $30 will be applied for makeup removal in the case that Whiplash have enough time to fully clean my lashes I am aware that time spent thoroughly removing make up with be deducted from session and I will still have to pay the full price.
If you are making a booking with our emerging artist, please understand that our staff are still undergoing training from our Lash Master. We will try our best to deliver the best result but please bear in mind that they are still learning and up-skilling new techniques.
Aftercare
I agree to follow these tips for best results:
Avoid Oil-Based Products: No oil-based eye products, as they loosen the adhesive.
Wash Lashes Before Appointment: Clean your lashes right before your appointment, not the night before. If you've been outside or at work all day, rewash them before coming in.
No Mascara or Lash Curlers: Avoid mascara, lash curlers, perms, or tints. With lash extensions, skip mascara altogether, even water-based ones.
Brush Lashes Daily: Brushing keeps them neat, natural-looking, and prevents clumping.
No Strip Lashes: Never put strip lashes over extensions.
Don’t Pick or Rub Lashes: This can damage your lashes and cause them to fall out.
Avoid Direct Heat: If you cook, avoid standing in front of hot ovens. If you smoke, be cautious around lighters.
Get Regular Refills: Refill your lashes every 2-3 weeks to keep them looking great.
Clean Lashes Every Night: Use a proper lash cleanser or oil-free face wash every night. ONLY washing with water isn’t enough and can cause poor retention. If you don’t wash your lashes at all, they’ll get dirty and fall off prematurely.
You Can Wash Lashes 1 Hour After Application: There’s no need to wait 24 hours before wetting your lashes. In fact, do not wait 24–48 hours to wash them, even if that’s what you’ve been advised at your previous salon.
Makeup Remover vs. Cleanser: Makeup remover and micellar water are not cleansers. Use a proper cleanser to wash your lashes.
Drying Your Lashes: After washing, blot your lashes with a tissue or clean towel. To fluff up volume lashes, use a hair dryer on a cool setting.
Avoid Cotton Pads: Cotton pads can leave lint on your lashes when removing makeup.
Lash Cleanser Available: We have an oil-free, natural lash cleanser in stock if you need one.
We got a proper lash cleanser in stock if you don't have any. Our Oil Free cleanser is made from Natural Ingredients and does NOT contain oil, glycerine, glycerol, artificial colour, ethanol, parabens, synthetic or added fragrances.--
Whiplash cannot be held responsible for shortened lash extension retention caused by the use of mascara, makeup residue, improper care, failure to follow our washing instructions, or using unsuitable products to clean your lashes.
Makeup or oil residue can make lash extension application more challenging, which may result in less fullness than expected if lashes are not properly cleaned before your appointment.
REFILL POLICY
To maintain a full look refill is needed every 2-3.5 weeks – you need to still have at least 40-50% of your lashes on for your appointment to qualify as a refill. If you have less than that or your lashes are in poor condition, we might have to remove the remaining extensions and start from the beginning. ——- ***Refill over 3.5 weeks will be considered as a new set.
A foreign fill fee is applicable for new clients.
Please be advised that as a client, you are responsible for the time allocated to you. If you think you have lost a lot of extensions, please book in for a longer appointment time. If you didn’t inform us prior - Whiplash won’t be liable if your lashes are not as full as your expectation, but we will definitely try our very best to fill as much as we can within the allocated time.
SURCHARGE POLICY
A 25% surcharge applies for appointments on Sunday, Public holidays and outside of the artist’s working hours.
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE POLICY
Clients must cancel or reschedule their appointment before 72 hrs of your scheduled service. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled without a minimum of 72 hours notice, your booking fees will be forfeited or we will charge late cancellation fee which is 50% of the service booked in (whichever is more). Please understand that 72 hrs will be counted by the hours from the time of your scheduled appointment.
You can cancel/reschedule your appointment via the link in your email confirmation in your inbox or written notice via text message/email within the timeframe to avoid any fee. Under no circumstances is a booking fee refundable for late cancellation – no exceptions.
Please note that you can only reschedule twice per one appointment otherwise you will have to pay another booking fee.
All booking fees paid are NON REFUNDABLE and can be used up to 1 year when you reschedule or cancel outside of our 72hrs notice.
**Covid cancellations including close contacts/isolation/tested positive will be treated as a normal cancellation
Our no-show/Late Reschedule policy
Clients who cancel within 24 hours of scheduled appointment or do not show up to scheduled appointments are subject to cancellation/termination fees which will be the full amount of their scheduled service. (if there is remaining balance after deducting the booking fees, the payment must be paid within the same day as the appointment or your credit card will be charged for the remaining amount) After a no-show you will not be able to book an appointment unless it is paid in full at the time of booking.
We do not answer phone calls during the appointment with clients nor are we able to answer any call outside of working hours. You are obligated to give us a written notice via text or email if you can’t attend the appointment within this timeframe.
All appointments begin and end on time so that the next client is not delayed. If the treatment does not start on time, the treatment time will be reduced accordingly, and you will still be required to pay “full price” of the service.
Please arrive at your appointment at the scheduled time to start your treatment on time. If late arrival is inevitable, your service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule. If you are late more than 15 mins you will consider it as a ‘no-show’ and the cancellation policy will take effect.
Refund Policy
No free service or refunds will be issued for any services that have been done. No exception to this term and condition. Please check and make sure you are happy with the lashes before you leave.
If you are having issues with the results of your appointment, we encourage you to communicate this with us before you leave the appointment -This is your window. After this we won’t be able to re-do them.
Allergic Reactions
NO REFUND or free removal will be given if you have an allergic reaction to the adhesive or products that we use and you will cover it at your own expense.
Removal of the eyelash extensions at Whiplash will be $40
Please understand that in rare cases as part of the procedure or aftercare, eye irritation, infection and discomfort could occur. You agree that if you experience any of these conditions with your lashes that you will go see a doctor as soon as possible and you will not attribute any liability to Whiplash Perth as a result of this procedure or the use and care of these lashes. There is no refund or no free service will be offered.
Retention Issue Policy
If for any reason you experience any unusual retention issue with your lash extensions, you must contact us within 72 hours of your appointment. You must come see us within 3 working days from your appointment. If you choose to wait beyond this period or decline to come in, standard refill price will apply. No exceptions and no refunds will be provided.
Payment Authorization Policy
If you have an outstanding balance due to a late reschedule or cancellation or you request a new booking via text message or email when no current booking fee is available, you authorize us to charge the card on file from your previous appointment. This card will be charged for any outstanding amounts, including late reschedule or cancellation fees, or for the required booking fee to secure your new appointment.
Please note, any charges made to the card will reflect the terms of our cancellation and rescheduling policies. By making a new booking under these circumstances, the client consents to these terms automatically.
Pricing and policies are subject to change at any time. Please keep yourself updated by reading your confirmation email at the time of your booking for changes.
This agreement will remain in effect for this procedure, and all future procedures conducted by WHIPLASH Perth.
